SUFFOLK BAND NOWHERE FAST RELEASE NEW SINGLE AHEAD OF EP RELEASE IN NOVEMBER

Suffolk, UK – September 2026 – Following their debut single release in August, rising Suffolk indie rock band Nowhere Fast are continuing their rapid ascent on the local music scene with the release of their second single, "Lync’s One." The track is released on 30 September 2026, ahead of their first EP Velvet Skies in November.
Formed in 2024, the five-piece band quickly built a loyal following through energetic performances at intimate venues, including The Smokehouse in Ipswich. Their early momentum has been driven by a growing catalogue of original material, with Fever Dream marking the band's first official release and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Nowhere Fast brings together five musicians from across Suffolk: Lewis Moore (lead vocals), Ryan Clements (lead guitar), Ewan Ramsey (rhythm guitar), Lyncon Watson (bass guitar), and Mackenzie Bacon (drums). The band first came together through friendships formed at Suffolk One College in Ipswich and a shared passion for indie rock.
After beginning rehearsals in 2024, the group developed a live set combining classic indie influences with their own original songs. As their songwriting evolved, original material became the heart of their performances, highlighting a distinctive sound that blends atmospheric melodies, driving guitars, and honest lyricism. Brighten The Corners described the bands live performances as "Nowhere Fast are more than just a band to watch, they are a band to experience..."
With a growing local fanbase, an expanding catalogue of original music available on all platforms and more live performances on the horizon in December, Nowhere Fast are on the rise on the Suffolk music scene.
