Suffolk indie rock five-piece Nowhere Fast are set to release their debut EP in October 2026, following the September release of new single “Lync’s One”.
Suffolk, UK — August 2026 — Suffolk-based indie rock band Nowhere Fast are gearing up for the release of their debut EP this October, marking an important milestone for a band that has rapidly established itself on the local live music scene.
The EP will feature the band’s debut single, Fever Dream, alongside Lync’s One, their new single due for release in September 2026. Together, the tracks capture the progression of a young band whose songwriting and live performances have continued to develop since they first formed in 2024.
Nowhere Fast have quickly built a loyal following through energetic performances at intimate venues across Suffolk, including The Smokehouse in Ipswich. Their early momentum has been fuelled by a growing catalogue of original material, with Fever Dream marking the band’s first official release and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The five-piece brings together musicians from across Suffolk: Lewis Moore (lead vocals), Ryan Clements (lead guitar), Ewan Ramsey (rhythm guitar), Lyncon Watson (bass guitar), and Mackenzie Bacon (drums).
The band first came together through friendships formed at Suffolk One College in Ipswich, united by a shared passion for indie rock. After beginning rehearsals in 2024, they developed a live set drawing on classic indie influences from bands such as The Smiths and Joy Division, while steadily establishing a sound of their own.
As their songwriting evolved, original material became the heart of Nowhere Fast’s performances. Their music combines atmospheric melodies, driving guitars and honest lyricism, creating a sound that balances the character of their influences with a distinctly contemporary edge.
With Lync’s One arriving in September and the debut EP following in October, 2026 promises to be a defining year for Nowhere Fast as they take their music from the Suffolk live circuit to a wider audience.
