Suffolk, UK – August 2026 – Rising Suffolk indie rock band Nowhere Fast are continuing their rapid ascent on the local music scene with the release of their debut single, "Fever Dream," which launched on 31 July 2026, just days before a landmark performance at Sax Fest.
Formed in 2024, the five-piece band quickly built a loyal following through energetic performances at intimate venues, including The Smokehouse in Ipswich. Their early momentum has been driven by a growing catalogue of original material, with Fever Dream marking the band's first official release and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Nowhere Fast brings together five musicians from across Suffolk: Lewis Moore (lead vocals), Ryan Clements (lead guitar), Ewan Ramsey (rhythm guitar), Lyncon Watson (bass guitar), and Mackenzie Bacon (drums). The band first came together through friendships formed at Suffolk One College in Ipswich and a shared passion for indie rock.
After beginning rehearsals in 2024, the group developed a live set combining classic indie influences from bands such as The Smiths and Joy Division with their own original songs. As their songwriting evolved, original material became the heart of their performances, showcasing a distinctive sound that blends atmospheric melodies, driving guitars, and honest lyricism.
On Saturday, 8 August 2026, Nowhere Fast will take to the stage at Sax Fest in Suffolk with a set featuring eight original songs, including their debut single Fever Dream. The performance represents an important milestone for the band as they continue to establish themselves as one of Suffolk's emerging indie acts.
With a growing fanbase, an expanding catalogue of original music, and more live performances on the horizon, Nowhere Fast are proving that their journey is only just beginning.
